Unlike competitors offering pre-calculated data or bespoke consultancy, Vortex automates a full non-linear modeling chain down to the microscale. Each run is initiated on-demand by the user through a web interface that connects directly to Vortex's supercomputer cluster. For turbulence applications, Vortex-LES couples WRF with a Large Eddy Simulation (LES) algorithm, resolving turbulent eddies at 100 m resolution.
